London-based DJ and producer who is best known for co-founding the legendary club night A Love From Outer Space (ALFOS) alongside the late Andrew Weatherall. Governed by a strict manifesto where the tempo never exceeds 122 BPM, Sean Johnston curates a hypnotic, slow-chugging sound that blends space disco, acid house, post-punk, and dub. Under his production alias Hardway Bros, he releases music on labels like DFA Records and Outre-Mer, the imprint he runs for his own releases and collaborations.
